Who We Are
We at New Life Community Church are a friendly bunch of people from a variety of cultures across the world.
We are a part of the Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance, a pentecostal denomination of over 550 churches across the United Kingdom with many more across the nations.
We are a community of believers who - out of the love shown to us by God the Father through Jesus Christ - want to engage, transform and build the community around us (1 John 4:19).
As a pentecostal church, we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, both at the time of the ascension of Jesus Christ in Acts 1 and today in our modern context.
We believe in the promotion of the use of the gifts of the Spirit in all facets of life and believe in praying for the manifestation of these gifts in our fellowship.
Our Team
Pastors Joey & Abbie Hancock

Pastors Joey & Abbie Hancock moved to Crewe in January 2024 with their son, Noah, and their dog, Kobe. After ministering at the Elim Church in Weston-Super-Mare for the past few years, Joey & Abbie felt God's call to lead their own church within the movement.
Joey and Abbie have a passion for seeing people saved and welcomed into the kingdom of God. They long for people to be baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit so that the followers of Jesus can fulfil their calling in the Kingdom of God.
Both saved in their youth, they want to see young people encounter the Living God for themselves and they will work with any young person in this journey.
They are both really excited for what God is going to do in New Life Community Church over the coming years and long to give way to the guiding of the Holy Spirit.
Joey is serving as our Senior Pastor - contact him here.
Abbie is serving as our Youth & Families Pastor - contact her here.

Elim Movement
The Elim Pentecostal Church is a growing movement of Christian congregations across the UK and Ireland. Elim was founded in 1915 by George Jeffreys, a young Christian from Maesteg, South Wales. An Evangelistic Band was formed by Jeffreys and others which quickly began to expand the work of the kingdom of God throughout the UK. Believing in their heart the power of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a tool for evangelism, many churches were planted. You can read more about the History of the Elim movement on Elim's website.
New Life Community Church ascribes to the beliefs of the Elim Movement in the form of their twelve Foundational Truths found here.
